Range Rules
SAFETY FIRST
Know the Rules. Shoot Safely.
Safety is everyone's responsibility. Please review these rules before entering the range and follow all instructions from our Range Safety Officers.
EYE & EAR PROTECTION REQUIRED
Eye and ear protection must be worn while on the range.
Range Age Requirements
21+
Handgun
18+

MINORS
Must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older.
UNDER 8
Children under 8 are not permitted on the range.
Always
- Keep your firearm pointed downrange.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
- Keep your firearm unloaded until ready to use.
- Shoot at the target on your lane.
- Follow instructions from the Range Safety Officer.
- Act responsibly. No horseplay or inappropriate behavior.
- Finish eating or drinking and dispose of gum before entering the range.
- Wear eye and ear protection at all times.
Never
- Load or unload firearms behind the firing line.
- Handle loaded firearms behind the firing line.
- Leave your firearm unattended.
- Shoot or draw from a holster during general range use. Holster work is permitted only under instructor supervision during the Way of the Dot course.
- Have more than one person shooting from the stall at a time, or more than four people sharing a lane on the range. Additional party members must wait in the showroom and may rotate with those on the range. Follow Range Safety Officer instructions and keep their view clear.
- Use aluminum-cased, steel-cased, steel-core, incendiary, tracer or green-tip ammunition.
- Use buckshot or birdshot in shotguns. Slugs only.
Cease Fire
- Stop shooting immediately.
- Keep your firearm pointed downrange.
- Wait for instructions from a Range Safety Officer.
Malfunctions & Jams
- Use the call button to contact a Range Safety Officer.
- Stay at your firing lane with your firearm.

Help Us Keep the Range Safe
Act responsibly at all times. Foul language, horseplay or other unsafe activity will not be tolerated.
If an unsafe act is observed, our staff will help explain the proper safety procedure. Repeated or serious unsafe behavior may result in being asked to leave the range and meeting with the Chief RSO.
Anyone who appears impaired by alcohol, drugs or medication may be evaluated by the RSO and may be asked to leave the range.
The safety of everyone on the range is a primary goal of Point Blank Range. We want every guest to enjoy a safe and responsible shooting experience.
