RANGE RULES
Always:
Keep your firearm pointed downrange.
Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
Keep your firearm unloaded until ready to use.
Shoot at the target on your lane.
Follow instructions from the Range Safety Officer.
Act responsibly, no horseplay or inappropriate behavior.
Finish eating, drinking and dispose of gum before entering the range.
Wear eye and ear protection at all times.
Never:
Load or unload firearms behind the firing line.
Handle loaded firearms behind the firing line.
Leave your firearm unattended.
Shoot or draw from a holster.
Have more than 1 shooter in the shooting stall (Max: 1 shooter and 1 for assistance)
Use aluminum cased, steel cased, steel core, incendiary, tracer or green tip ammunition.
Use buckshot or birdshot in shotguns (Slugs Only!)
Cease Fire:
Stop shooting IMMEDIATELY.
Keep firearm pointed down range.
Wait for instructions from a Range Safety Officer.
Malfunctions and Jams:
Use the call button to call for a Range Safety Officer.
Stay at firing lane with your firearm.
ALL INSTRUCTIONS FROM A RANGE SAFETY OFFICER MUST BE FOLLOWED.
Act responsibly at all items. Foul language, horseplay or any other unsafe activity will not be tolerated. If we observe an unsafe act, we will help you understand what you did and work with you to learn the correct safety procedures. If you repeat or commit another unsafe act, you may be asked to leave the range and meet the Chief RSO. If you appear to be impaired (such as under the influence of alcohol and drugs, including prescription medication), you will be evaluated by the RSO; you may be asked to leave the range. The safety of everyone is a primary goal of Point Blank Range. We want you to enjoy shooting and will work with everyone who wants the same.
